School Council

Here we are attending our School Council Meeting on 17 Nov. Today we discussed safety around the school including stranger danger and fire evacuation procedures. We also discussed Children in Need and ways of fundraising. The children would also like to run an animal colouring competition and charge 50p per an entry. The Winner would get to visit the animal sanctuary which we are supporting and all proceeds of the competition would be given to the sanctuary.

On 22 Sept the School Council had their first meeting of the year. They consist of 6 Year 1 and 6 Year 2 children (see below).
We will have regular meetings to discuss items such as which charities we are going to fundraise for. We also discussed what a difference we can make within the community.
The charities we have decided to support at this stage are Guide Dogs for the Blind, Marie Curie Cancer Care and Old Farm Animal sanctuary.
