We had a fabulous week learning about how Chinese people their New Year. We discovered that each year is named after an animal (12 different animals altogether). Do you know what year this is? We visited the Shanghai Chinese Restaurant to hear about New Year, listen to some Chinese music, look at some typical instruments AND, of course, sample the food! We also took part in a Chinese dance workshop. We loved it.
